When I was asked to design invitations and menus for a Mothers Day Brunch hosted by Natalie Rolt at her North Fremantle Boutique, to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer, of course I accepted, and it was an absolute honour to work with a handful of local creatives and come together to create an incredible setting to be enjoyed by some amazing woman, all for a great cause.
Featuring a bold and elegant long-winding table in the white washed, light filled space, the occasion was filled with happiness, laughter and dancing – all in the name of charity. Sheridan Tjhung, as usual worked her magic and created the most beautiful and enchanting display of florals, whilst Butcher Baker Stylist did an amazing job pulling the look and event together!
I took my mum, and her mum along - it was so amazing to see so many generations in the one room enjoying each others company.
Guests enjoyed an in house workshop of hair and make up, sipped champagne, grazed on swoon worthy savoury and sweets, and heard from a woman who's mum had been affected by cancer which inspired her to start her own all natural products (candles, herbal teas, bath and body) - The Purist Collection.
I took my mum and her mum along to the lunch, and it was so amazing to see so many generations in the one room enjoying each others company. It really did make me feel extremely grateful and fortunate to have a healthy family, and to be able to give to those who haven't been as fortunate on such a special day of the year, when we celebrate one of the most important people in our lives was an incredible feeling.
